I keep trying to wrap my head around this and the best I can do is that it was evidence in a trial. "Exhibit A your honor." And then it was passed around to the all male jury that nodded and sniffed and handed it to the next guy. Must have been a heck of a trial. I'm betting one of those women was convicted of something.

Brattleboro is a small city in Southern Vermont on the border with New Hampshire , and south of where the History Fair was in Bethel .
