Garage Sale Pole
Looks like African Nail art, but it is the telephone pole down the road used for nailing up garage sale notices. Enlarge the pic. As you can see, the trunk was "double-girdled" with iron but the nails keep on coming. Many appear to be collaborative attempts shared by Father and son, which is nice.

This is awesome, thanks for taking the time to photograph it. I have marveled at similar poles, but you nailed this one.
ReplyDeleteThanks John. A detour from most of my other postings. I once climbed a ladder and pounded a nail into a log Yoko Ono installed in NYC. It wasn't awesome, but i do miss the venue.
