The Jordan line of Dreamed up Automobiles from the 1950s. Vintage Scrapbook with original drawings
Dream Automobiles! Robert Jordan creates his own line of imaginary automobiles in the 1950s. A 6" x 8" handmade booklet with cutouts from popular magazines on the front and back covers...but the real interest here is the wacky transportation vehicles Young deamed up. "Droom" is Dutch for Dream, and "Tekeningen Cahier" seems to translate to "booklet of techinical drawings" and that's what we have. Even a few amphipbious hot rods!

Etui Etui ??? Homemade Folk Art Needle Case
Etui ??? Edui is another name for a needle case. Well, sorta. So let's just use needle case. A handmade one, with felt, feedsack printed cotton, some trim...and a nice little tab of paper above from where this little lady once lived in a scrapbook but was torn out. She has had a few lives.
An odd thing, as printed needle cases and needle books were literally given out free.
SEE HERE
Still, someone took the time to make it, the least I can do is scan it.

Primitive Stereograph Stereoview Homemade Handmade 3-D
Does this primitive 3-D stereoview (or stereograph) work? Stare at your own nose and see. YEP! Even an amateur can make a 3-D image. So why does Hollywood persist in spending 100 million dollars each on horrible big screen crappers in 3-D with plots no deeper than a serial murderers's hasty, hand-dug shallow grave? Same reason any media company does anything these days. Scared of the Internet! The only thing missing is a slow-motion bullet splitting a tree.

Miniature Make-Do Folk Art Tack and Pin Box with Birds Drawn by Hand
A tiny "make-do" handmade folk art box for holding tacks and pins. Only three inches wide and two inches tall, the box is constructed from cardboard, the "handles" are small brads. I presume made by a child, possibly as a gift for the parents? Circa 1920 or so. Scarlet Tanager, Baltimore Oriole and Goldfinch.

Yarn Bomb Bikini for the Dishes (!) A Poem and a Homemade Dish Wash Product for the Home
You can probably start looking for these on Etsy (or Yarn Bombed all over town, that being the latest hipster doofus graffiti art form...now that I think of it, a nice bikini around the corner telephone pole would be nice. If any followers find (or DO) one themselves send a pic and I promise to run it. ONE! I don't want to see graffiti swimming suits all over town, especially when it is zero degrees.)
Anyway, here is the poem neatly typed over the navel by our artisan.
If you don't look good in a bikini
You are either too fat or too skinny
So swim in whatever suits your wishes
But take me apart and wash your dishes.
Other famous crochet artists include Bettie Page (who made some of her own posing costumes) and...Okay I don't KNOW any more. But there are some. This is a wonderful way to present your product at the local craft fair, by the way. Make a human cardboard torso, hang boob and butt dishwashers on it and watch the money roll in.
18" tall crochet bikini mounted on human torso holder with original poem circa 1960 Anon. Proudly collected and displayed in his home office by Jim Linderman
