Big Nipper the RCA Dog

Giant “Nipper” the RCA dog stands guard over the Kalamazoo Humane Society building in 1979. (Standing with him is my dog Crispus…RIP) Nipper was 150 pounds of fiberglass, and originally part of a RCA marketing campaign in 1950. Nipper has knocked around since… he was once stolen and thrown in a river. Apparently he has been restored, tucked away and makes appearances at various events since.
