Jim Linderman's latest book, "Eccentric Folk Drawings," is fantastic. The variety and beauty of the drawings included is astounding and will keep you coming back to discover and re-discover its contents. It's a great "coffee table" art book Christmas gift that luckily doesn't weigh as much as coffee table. The drawings range from the starkly beautiful with lush coloration, to the truly eccentric yet always interesting, to the quite humorous. Linderman has done it again, delivering fun and the joy of visual entertainment in a compact, well-done tome. I highly recomment the hard copy edition for something wonderful you can hold in your hands and enjoy anywhere, though the PDF version is well-priced (ie. cheap, though just as visually well presented) and would make a superb source of screen backgrounds in addition to easy viewing while spending those long hours at your computer.
