Hypothesis: "Taylor Klose" is a pseudonym for Catholic author Virginia Taylor Klose, whose books were illustrated by Mircea Vasiliu. These drawings show the same type of lines as Vasiliu's other work. To me anyway.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, since this and the other three pamphlets attributed to Taylor Klose published by Paulist Press in 1959 and 1960 were essentially "public service" works, they didn't want to draw attention to themselves. Or maybe Paulist Press did the censoring itself.
