I'm happy to find that someone has done research on this aspect of photographic history. I'm interested in your book, but the linked site says it is no longer available. Is it possible to obtain a copy?Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12306161774003824429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2800318651965357815.post-65646073257693693922012-06-23T14:48:55.645-07:002012-06-23T14:48:55.645-07:00I heard they were purchased and have a new owner, ...I heard they were purchased and have a new owner, but that is all I know. I've been doing tintypes and other forms of wet plate collodion for about five years, and ready to build a studio. I have a few studio cameras and large lenses. Anyway, I was curious if the backdrops are still available, where they are, and the price.

Thanks and I'm enjoying your book on backdrops.

Dave SmithDavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09657079861443911513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2800318651965357815.post-24668852639984000702011-03-06T18:19:12.929-08:002011-03-06T18:19:12.929-08:00I am intrigued to see that they were painted in bl...I am intrigued to see that they were painted in black and white. I don't know why, but I always expected them to have been painted in full technicolour.
