A “no trump” card came is one where no suit is designated as the trump suit. The highest card wins the trick. This is a vintage Bridge card game “tally” which is set to remind players the match has no trump or to indicate the suit which is. Interestingly, in British Slang, “to trump” is a common term for flatulence.
