SERIOUS film making from the 1930s
THIS is how to open a film. Above is an original still photograph, collection Jim Linderman, showing the stunning opening of the film Crime Without Passion being produced. Enjoy this clip...and marvel.
Great find! The actress is either Dorothy Bradshaw, Fraye Gilbert, or Betty Sundmark (I wrote something briefly about this film last year at http://www.bookoftheerinyes.com/journal/2008/12/furies-from-the-1930s/ )
hey Jim,someone tumblred this from another source http://dreamslikethat.blogspot.com/2009/12/backlit.html?zx=8437e8d8f8caab82 not sure if you're aware of it[they did left a link back here] but it was strange to see it without your watermark, thought you might wanna know that;]
